Using information from sensors in local highways supplied by TravInfo, a federally funded Bay Area Intelligent Transportation System, we are now able to view up-to-the-minute data about traffic conditions on major roads. The information has been posted to the web by Etak, a local publisher of mapping technology and Maxwell Technologies, a company that creates real-time PC applications.
