San Carlos, CA - February 14, 2013 - On February 11, 2013, San Mateo County Sheriff's Office Deputies arrested Ronica Randolph for the listed charges.  The arrest came after a citizen contacted the Sheriff’s Office advising her wallet had been stolen from a rear changing room in the Urbanization store; 1179 San Carlos Avenue, in San Carlos.

Deputies from the San Carlos Patrol Bureau responded to the business and obtained a physical description of three suspects last seen in the area of the San Carlos Cal train station.  Deputies searched the train station and surrounding area, but were unable to locate the suspects.

While deputies continued interviewing the victim, her bank informed her of unusual purchases taking place at the Safeway and Walgreens store in Belmont, CA.  While the Belmont Police Department was advised, the
bank called back  and added that the credit cards were  then being used at  StrideRite Shoes,  Gymboree, Sephora and Kara’s Cupcakes on Burlingame Avenue, in Burlingame.

Based on the most recent transaction activity, the Burlingame Police department was advised and Burlingame Officers stopped and detained Suspect Randolph near the Burlingame Caltrain station. The credit cards from
the theft in San Carlos were found on the ground near where Suspect Randolph was located.

San Mateo County Sheriff’s Deputies took custody of Suspect Randolph a short time later after which she was transported and booked in San Mateo County Jail.
