Program Description:
The ACC Lunch Program is on Mondays from 11:15 to 12:30. The service is available to the community. The benefits of the program include socialization and affordable quality meals.

The Adult Community Center is a day use recreation center for community members, ages 50 and over. The Adult Community Center offers a variety of programs and services designed to promote health and wellness, enhance independence, promote lifelong learning and quality of life as well as strengthen community image and sense of place for older adults.

Adult Community Center Hours:
o Open Monday to Fridays, 9 am to 5 pm.

Responsibilities:
o Count money beginning and end of shift
o Ring up customer sales on cash register
o Take money and make correct change
o Close out cash register, get tape report and complete daily revenue report
o Assist in production of a lunch program that serves 50-100 seniors
o Attend volunteer meetings as scheduled

Qualifications:
o Ability to count money and make correct change
o Willingness to learn cash register procedures, if not experienced
o Good Customer Service Skills

Time Commitment:
o One 2-hr shift one day a week; Monday 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.
o Minimum 3-month commitment

Training Provided:
o Job orientation and training will be provided by Center staff and volunteers
