Program Description:
Coffee Chat Fridays are a good time to socialize with others and meet new friends! The group meets at 11:00am in the Patio Room. Coffee and light snacks are provided but additional treats are always welcome!

The Adult Community Center is a day use recreation center for community members, ages 50 and over. The Adult Community Center offers a variety of programs and services designed to promote health and wellness, enhance independence, promote lifelong learning and quality of life as well as strengthen community image and sense of place for older adults.

Adult Community Center Hours:
o Open Monday to Fridays, 9 am to 5 pm.

Responsibilities:
o Help plan and organize Coffee Chat Fridays
o Set-up and Clean-up the Patio Room
o Prepare the snacks and refreshments for Coffee Chat
o Attend volunteer meetings as scheduled

Qualifications:
o Enjoy working with people
o Friendly, pleasant disposition
o Desire to help others
o Ability to perform with a high standard of Customer Service

Time Commitment:
o One 2 to 3 hour shift, Friday mornings

Training Provided:
o Job orientation will be provided by Center staff and current volunteers
