Program Description:
Special Events occur on a quarterly basis at the Adult Community Center. Volunteer and be involved with our Dances, Pedro Tournament, Bunco Roll-Off, Center Fundraisers, Holiday Decorating, and much more!

The Adult Community Center is a day use recreation center for community members, ages 50 and over. The Adult Community Center offers a variety of programs and services designed to promote health and wellness, enhance independence, promote lifelong learning and quality of life as well as strengthen community image and sense of place for older adults.

Adult Community Center Hours:
o Open Monday to Fridays, 9 am to 5 pm.

Responsibilities:
Weekend Special Event 
        o Assist with Decorations & logistics 
        o Assist with food preparation & service (if event is serving food) 
        o Assist with set up and clean up

Weeknight Event 
        o Assist with Decorations & logistics 
        o Assist with food preparation & service (if event is serving food) 
        o Assist with set up and clean up

Qualifications:
o Desire to help others
o Customer Service Oriented

Time Commitment:
o Flexible Hours – Schedule weekly or monthly
o Approximately 4 to 6 hours per month

Training Provided:
o Job orientation will be provided by Center staff
