Program Description:
The ACC Lunch Program is on Mondays from 11:15 am to 12:30 pm. The service is available to the community. The benefits of the program include socialization and affordable quality meals. The special Friday Luncheons occur on the second Friday of the month from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm and include a sit down lunch. The Pancake social occurs on the fourth Friday of the month from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.

The Adult Community Center is a day use recreation center for community members, ages 50 and over. The Adult Community Center offers a variety of programs and services designed to promote health and wellness, enhance independence, promote lifelong learning and quality of life as well as strengthen community image and sense of place for older adults.

Adult Community Center Hours:
o Open Monday to Fridays, 9 am to 5 pm.

Responsibilities:
o Assist with cleaning and break down of the room
o Assist with washing dishes and putting them away
o Wipe down the kitchen countertops and stainless steel refrigerator and freezer doors
o Maintain the cleanliness of the stove, oven and kitchen sinks
o Clean the cafeteria line glass window
o Ensure the kitchen is clean and ready for next group
o Attend volunteer meetings as scheduled

Qualifications:
o Possess good attitude
o Be a team player

Time Commitment:
o One 1- to 2- hour shift per week
o Shifts available: Mondays starting at 12:30 pm; 2nd Friday of the month starting at 1:30 pm and 4th Friday of the month starting at 11:00 am

Training Provided:
o Job orientation will be provided by Center staff
o Kitchen Orientation
