Program Description:
The ACC houses Paperback Library for the community. Volunteers are needed to organize and file books donated by the community.

The Adult Community Center is a day use recreation center for community members, ages 50 and over. The Adult Community Center offers a variety of programs and services designed to promote health and wellness, enhance independence, promote lifelong learning and quality of life as well as strengthen community image and sense of place for older adults.

Adult Community Center Hours:
o Open Monday to Fridays, 9 am to 5 pm.

Responsibilities:
o Receive and Label Books
o File Books according to title
o Rotate Magazines according to release/publication date
o Coordinate giveaway of duplicate books to community or San Carlos Library
o Send acknowledgement cards to book donors

Qualifications:
o Desire to help others
o Customer Service Oriented

Time Commitment:
o Flexible Hours – Schedule monthly
o Approximately 2 to 4 hours per month

Training Provided:
o Job orientation will be provided by Center staff
