1. Amendments to these By-Laws may be initiated at any Youth Advisory Council meeting with prior notification to members.

2. Recommendation of any Amendment shall require a two-thirds vote of Youth Advisory Council members. Upon approval of the City Council, Amendments shall take effect immediately, unless otherwise stipulated in the Amendment.

July 1995 Amendment

Amendment to the Youth Advisory Council By-Laws Membership, Item 1.

Shall state: "...Any resident of San Carlos living within the 94070 zip code, or student enrolled in a school within San Carlos, who will be 12 to 18 years of age during the next committee term following his/her appointment will be eligible for memberships of the Youth Advisory Council."

April 1997 Amendment

Amendment to the Youth Advisory Council By-Laws Officers, Item 1 Shall state:
"Public Relations Officer
The Public Relations Officer shall be responsible for the publication of quarterly a 2-3 page newsletter, chairing the Media Sub-Committee, working with the chairs of other sub-committees in regards to publicizing their issues and events, ensuring that all posters, hand-outs, and out-going correspondence from the Council meet guidelines decided upon by the Media sub-committee."
