Public Meeting: Your Thoughts on Economic Development in San Carlos (February 28, 2007)

The City of San Carlos is Working For You!
The City of San Carlos has begun work on an Economic Development Plan, and has retained the Rosenow Spevacek Group (RSG) to study and provide input on ways that the City can retain and attract desirable businesses in San Carlos. To be successful in this effort, the City needs to hear from you. With your support and involvement, we can create an economic development plan that will potentially diversify the city’s economic base, offer a wider variety of products and services, increase employment opportunities, and enhance the quality of life for people who live and work in San Carlos. On February 28, 2007, the City held a public workshop to provide San Carlos residents and businesses an opportunity to disciss Economic Development. The evening included a brief overview of the economic development process, and an opportunity to share your thoughts and experiences. The suggestions for Economic Development in San Carlos from attendees at this meeting were incorporated into the Economic Development Survey that was part of this project. This is a map of San Carlos that defined the regions of the city we focused on at the meeting.
