Your Input - A Community Meeting and the San Carlos Economic Development Survey (February and March 2007)

The consultants that are developing the City's Economic Development Plan, the Rosenow Spevacek Group (RSG), held a meeting on February 28, 2007 for the San Carlos Community. They listened to over 65 residents and businesses on Economic Development in San Carlos talk about what you like about the businesses in San Carlos and what might be missing and would enhance the community. . The suggestions from the community at that meeting were incorporated into a web-based survey.

During the last two weeks of March, almost 950 residents, visitors and workers in San Carlos participated in the Ecomonic Development Survey. Nine of the responses came in written form with the balance being submitted via the web. We thank you for your comments, ideas and thoughts. The results of the survey will be incorporated into the draft Economic Development Plan. It will be presented to the Economic Development Advisory Commission (EDAC) at two meetings in May 2007 (May 9th and May 16th) and then to the City Council in June 2007.
