PUBLIC NOTICE 

            NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the San Carlos Redevelopment Agency (the “Agency”) will hold a public hearing on Monday, September 28, 2009, commencing at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, located at 600 Elm Street, San Carlos, California, to consider and act upon the adoption of the proposed 2009/10-2013/14 Implementation Plan (the “Implementation Plan”) for the San Carlos Redevelopment Project (the “Project Area”). 

            The proposed Implementation Plan contains, for the five year period from fiscal year 2009/10 through 2013/14, the specific goals and objectives of the Agency for the Project Area, the specific programs, including potential projects, proposed to be carried out by the Agency in the Project Area, and the estimated expenditures associated with the programs and potential projects identified for the Project Area. 

            Copies of the proposed Implementation Plan and a map showing the general location of the Project Area in the City of San Carlos, plus any other information pertaining thereto, will be available for inspection, or may be obtained upon the payment of the costs of reproduction, on August 28, 2009, at the office of the San Carlos Redevelopment Agency, 600 Elm Street, San Carlos, California.  An electronic copy of the Implementation Plan and Project Area map will also be available online at (http://www.cityofsancarlos.org/ed/programs_and_projects/san_carlos_redevelopment_agency___public_hearing_9_28_2009.asp).  For further information, you may call Mark Sawicki at (650) 802-4220 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.  Interested persons may also submit written comments addressed to the San Carlos Redevelopment Agency, 600 Elm Street, San Carlos, California 94070, prior to the hour of 5:00 p.m. on Monday, September 28, 2009.

            At the time and place noted above, all persons interested in the above matter may appear and be heard. 

            Court challenges to any public hearing items may be limited to only those issues which are raised at the public hearing described in the notice or in written correspondence delivered to the San Carlos Redevelopment Agency at or prior to the public hearing.  (Health and Safety Code Section 33501.2).
