San Mateo County's Community Alert System (SMCALERT): Get Informed During An Emergency
The City of San Carlos in partnership with the County of San Mateo is proud to introduce the SMC Alert System. All users who sign up for SMC Alert will be notified of important information straight from the city. New information will be sent to users as soon as it becomes available.
Users can decide to sign up their E-mail, PDAs, pagers, or even cell phones. All designated devices will receive updates of situations occurring in the city. Users will not receive advertisements or SPAM mail. Your contact information is not shared with any other source and is maintained by select individuals in the Police and Fire departments.
The more steps you take to becoming prepared before a major emergency, the easier it will be for you and your family to recover from that emergency!
