Manage the impacts of climate change
- Ensure natural resources are preserved, sustained and managed through environmental stewardship.

- Ensure that there is a Climate Action Plan (CAP) in place at all times to address reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and manage the impacts of Climate change.

Goal 1- Protect natural habitat and other biological resources.
Goal 2- Promote healthy streams and riparian corridors.
Goal 3- Enhance the urban forest.
Goal 4- Acquire preserve protect and restore open space and enhance the public's ability to enter and enjoy open space.
Goal 5- Assure a high level of domestic water quality and promote water conservation and reduce toxics in run-off including stormwater and the sanitary sewer system.
Goal 6- Support atmospheric systems that are clean, healthful, provides maximum visibility and meets air quality standards.
