Public Notice-City Council hearing regarding the Adoption of the 2030 General Plan

Public Notice 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the San Carlos City Council, pursuant to the City of San Carlos Municipal Code Section 18.136.040, the California Government Code Section 65353, and the Guidelines for the California Environmental Quality Act Section 15202(b), will hold a public hearing in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 600 Elm Street, San Carlos, on Monday, October 12, 2009 at 7:00 p.m., for the purpose of hearing and considering all comments of all persons interested in or concerned with: the proposed Final Environmental Impact Report which is a Program Environmental Impact Report, pursuant to the Guidelines for the California Environmental Quality Act Section 15168 for the draft 2030 General Plan and the Climate Action Plan (“Project”); the proposed adoption of a 2030 General Plan; and the proposed adoption of a Climate Action Plan. 

The City Council will consider: 1) certification of the Final Environmental Impact Report, 2) adoption of the 2030 General Plan, and 3) adoption of the Climate Action Plan.

            All persons interested in the above are hereby invited to attend this public meeting and hearing and be heard.  If you challenge this proposal in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public meeting and hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Planning Department at, or prior to, the public meeting and hearing.
