The Capital Improvement Project (CIP) budget is developed by the City's Finance department. It forecasts and allocates the resources the City will use to build and maintain it's infrastructure. Each year the City Council reviews staff recommendations and provide policy directions. These Capital projects have no impact in the City's General Fund.

FY2012 CIP

On June 13, 2011, the San Carlos City Council reviewed staff's recommendations for FY2011 Capital Budget Projects (CIP), and were asked to provide policy direction with respect to the preparation of a capital budget document for consideration at the June 27, 2011 City Council Meeting.

The proposed capital projects are funded out of the capital project funds, as described in the following documents, and will draw down on capital fund balances over the course of the projects. These capital projects have no impact on the City's General Fund.
