Department Description
The Finance Division is staffed by the Finance Officer, two Senior Accountants, two Accounting Technicians II, and an Administrative Assistant. The functional areas and major activities of the Department include the following: Accounting Services, Accounts Receivable/Cashier, Accounts Payable, Asset Management, Financial Planning, Analysis and Reports, and Professional Development.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Finance Division is to responsibly manage the City's financial resources; to report timely, accurate financial information; and to provide quality service to the City Council, City Manager, City departments and the public. The Division works closely with the elected City Treasurer to meet the shared goals of appropriate internal controls, prudent investment of City resources, and cost effective financial services.
