In accordance with the Municipal Code of the City of San Carlos and under authority granted by the City Council, the City Administrative Services Director is responsible for investing the unexpected cash in the City Treasury.
The investment of the funds of the City of San Carlos is directed to the goals of safety, liquidity and yield. The authority governing investments for municipal government is set forth in the California Government Code, Sections 53601 through 53659.
