The City Manager's Department is responsible for managing the City's Garbage Franchise and Recycling.

Services Provided by Allied Waste (formerly BFI)

Recycling and Garbage Pick-up in San Carlos is performed by Allied Waste Services under a franchise agreement granted by the City of San Carlos. BFI's Peninsula division is located in San Carlos.
