| |  Holiday Tree Recycling Recology San Mateo County will collect your tree to be composted between December 26th and January 31st on your regular compost collection day.
Please remove all decorations and tree strands (flocked trees are accepted) before placing the tree next to your green Compost Cart.
Trees may be up to 8 feet in length. If your tree is longer than eight feet, please cut up the tree before placing it next to your green cart.
After January 31st, please cut the tree so that it fits inside the Compost Cart.

Please call Recology San Mateo County at (650) 595-3900 to arrange for the collection of trees. Trees can be collected in piles or in a drop box for no additional charge.
