Public Education Requests

The San Carlos Fire Department welcomes opportunities to provide education and outreach to the community.  San Carlos Fire Department personnel would enjoy speaking to your community group, church group, neighborhood association, work place or other group on a variety of fire-related topics including, but not limited to:

  • Home safety
  • What to do in a fire
  • Working with your local public safety officials
  • Fire extinguisher training
  • Smoke detectors
  • Helping children cope with disasters
Residents may also schedule a tour of the San Carlos Fire Stations:

  • Fire Station #13:  525 Laurel St, San Carlos
  • Fire Station #16:  1280 Alameda de las Pulgas, San Carlos


Event requests and Fire Station Tours can be scheduled by filling out a Public Education Request Application on the City of Redwood City website.  A two-week advance notice is required to allow for processing of your request.
