Campfire Safety Tips

Always supervise children around fires, grills and cooking.

Wear snug tightly woven clothing and short sleeves around fires. Extinguisher

Everyone must know Stop, Drop & Roll if clothes are on fire.

Always keep a fire extinguisher or source of water available.

Maintain a minimum of 3 foot clearance free of combustible or flammable vegetation and materials around campfires, cooking and tents.

Thoroughly extinguish/soak all fires and turn off fuel-powered lanterns, stoves and other appliances before leaving the campsite or going to bed.
