The Heather Field renovation discussion is scheduled for the July 23, 2007 City Council meeting. The staff report and attachment links are provided below.

Please note that neither the staff report nor the consultant proposals make a recommendation as to the type of turf to be installed. Athletic field lighting was not requested in the Request for Proposal and is not included in any of the proposals, or the staff report, nor is conduit for lighting.

We received three proposals from firms for design and preparation of plans, specifications and cost estimates for installation of an athletic field at Heather School. The proposals also included a comparative analysis of natural and synthetic turf. After thorough analysis by Public Works and Parks & Recreation staff and background checks, the firm of Callander Associates Landscape Architecture, Inc. was decided to have the best proposal and was chosen for recommendation to the City Council.
