The City Council will consider the fields issue at their regular meeting on Monday, April 14, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall City Council Chambers. City of San Carlos Parks and Recreation Director Barry Weiss and City Manager Mark Weiss announced that they have endorsed the top priority recommendation of the 28 Member Citizens Field Committee to renovate the Lower Field at Highlands Park as the first step in upgrading the City’s Athletic Fields. The report to the City Council, which will be considered at the Monday, April 14, 2008 City Council Meeting, also recommends that the Staff pursue installing synthetic turf at the Lower Field at Highlands Park.
