Synthetic Turf Update - October 22, 2004

City staff is recommending that the City Council continue the following items on their October 25, 2004 agenda and consider them at an upcoming City Council meeting, probably November 8, 2004:

• Recommendation for Creation, Objectives, Structure and Selection Process of Community Committee for Evaluation of Athletic Field Use Needs and Possible Solutions
• Recommendation to Not Conduct A Community-Wide Parks and Recreation Needs Assessment and Develop Strategies to Achieve Identified Needs

We have received a letter from an attorney representing the Heather School neighborhood raising legal questions. We want to consider these issues before the City Council proceeds.
