Welcome to the San Carlos Police Department WebsitePolice Chief - Greg Rothus

Our intent in designing the content of our site is to provide you with information about our department and the services we provide the public. I hope you will find our site informative but please feel free to contact us directly if we can be of additional help.

The City of San Carlos enjoys a reputation of being one of the safest cities to live and work in the Bay Area. The City Council has consistently made public safety a top priority and has supported a wide variety of very effective police programs and services. In addition to working closely with the community, the Police Department works very closely with other city departments to help build and maintain a safe community. Community safety is just one of the many reasons that San Carlos is such a desirable location to live and work.

Successful crime prevention and crime suppression strategies coupled with effective community outreach efforts are the focus of our department. I invite you to click on the star below to connect with your Police Department and learn more about our community outreach efforts.

We approach these responsibilities by working hard to design internal management practices that bring out the best in our officers and staff. By focusing on our people, constantly striving for professionalism, and instilling pride in our department and community, we are better positioned to provide the very best in police services.

Thank you for taking the time to visit us at our web page. I trust that your experience in San Carlos will be both enjoyable and safe!
