Speederia Pizzeria

The Youth Advisory Council in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce has a new asset building program for youth and merchants in San Carlos called the “Young Consumer Champions” Award. For the month of July the Champion was Speederia Pizzeria. The Pizzeria was nominated because staff is youth friendly and has great pizza and drink deals affordable for youth. Anita’s Gifts and Things is the August Champion. Anita’s was chosen because their staff is kind to youth and assists them when they enter the store to purchase gift items. Chamber executives and Youth Advisory Council members jointly presented the awards to the business owners. Look for the Young Consumer Champions stickers in their windows. Congratulations to both asset building businesses!
