The Economic Development Advisory Commission has 18 members and meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. (Subcommittee meetings are held throughout the month), to review matters related to economic development, redevelopment, and housing (city-wide) strategies that the Redevelopment Agency directs to them.

Museum of San Carlos History Board of Directors are responsible for all museum operations, including hours available to the public, types of public use (events, etc.), display of historical items and memorbilia, acceptance of items (permanent or on loan) and cataloguing items in inventory. The Traffic & Transportation Commission has five members. It meets as needed and makes recommendations to the city council on matters pertaining to traffic-related capital improvement projects, traffic-related complaints from residents, and reviews ways for improving traffic conditions in the city.
What is the Youth Advisory Council?
The Youth Advisory Council has nine members. This council meets the second Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in an advisory capacity to the city council in matters pertaining to the youth and teen population, especially as related to the San Carlos Youth Center.

The Arts and Culture Commission has five members and meets at 5:30 p.m. the third Monday of the month during February, May, August and November. The commission advises the City Council on matters affecting the historical and artistic and cultural affairs of the San Carlos and its environs.
