Brad Lewis was elected to the San Carlos City Council on November 8, 2005. Previously, he served on the San Carlos Parks & Recreation Commission for five years and numerous other volunteer advisory committees, including the Alternative Funding, Trails, and Athletic Sites advisory committees. Mr. Lewis' vision for the City is to maintain and improve the quality of life for its citizens by assuring responsible growth, effectively managing traffic, and keeping San Carlos one of America's safest cities while ensuring the City's fiscal stability and economic growth. He is committed to supporting programs for children and senior citizens and to increasing environmental consciousness.
Mr. Lewis attended Fresno State University and received a Bachelor's of Art degree in Theater Arts. He currently works for Pixar Animation Studios as a Director, has produced the feature films "Ratatouille" and "ANTZ" and has worked in the entertainment, computer graphics and special effects industries for 25 years. His volunteer activities in San Carlos include AYSO youth soccer, (board member, coach trainer, referee), Little League, Carlmont football, and various school activities. He is an active runner, enjoys mountaineering and many outdoor activities.
Mr. Lewis has lived in San Carlos for over 19 years after growing up in San Mateo, California. He resides with his wife, Regina, his son, Jackson, and daughter, Ella.
