City Hall Holiday Closure Announcement
As a cost saving measure, the City of San Carlos will close facilities, including City Hall, the Adult Community Center, Youth Center, the Laureola Park Activity Building, as well as suspend most City services and activities from December 24, 2014 through January 2, 2015.

Emergency services (Police, Fire, Storm, Sewer & Road Repair) will continue during this furlough period.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and encourage you to make appointments (where applicable) for service prior to our closing.

Our doors will re-open Monday, January 5th, 2015, at 8:00AM.  



City of San Carlos Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA)
to provide Affordable Housing Services

The City of San Carlos invites local organizations providing affordable housing services to submit a request for funding for Fiscal Years 2014-15 and 2015-16. The City’s Below Market Rate Housing Trust Fund contains monies that shall be used to increase and improve housing affordable to Moderate-, Low-, Very Low-, and Extremely Low-Income Households. The Fund monies shall be used in accordance with the City’s Affordable Housing Programs Ordinance and Housing Element Goals and Policies to maintain or increase the quantity, quality, and variety of affordable housing units or assist other governmental entities, private organizations, or individuals to do so. The Housing Division is responsible for the City's Housing efforts. The division participates in local and regional housing efforts, evaluation of housing opportunities as they become available, programs to increase the supply of workforce housing and funding support for several key housing programs.
