Shelter Network

Shelter Network operates six programs throughout San Mateo County. These programs are dedicated to helping homeless parents, children, and single adults restore their strength, maintain their dignity and become self-sufficient once again. Emergency Shelter:

First Step for Families in San Mateo and Maple Street Shelter in Redwood City provide 1 to 60 days of immediate shelter and services.

Transitional Housing:

Family Crossroads in Daly City, Haven Family House in Menlo Park, Redwood Family Houses and Maple Street Shelter in Redwood City all provide 2 to 6 months of housing and services.

Long-Term Transitional Housing:

Bridges provides up to 24 months of rental assistance and case management for parents and single adults enrolled in job training programs, working to pay off large credit card debts, or waiting to qualify for disability benefits.
