Speakers should fill out a speakers form, found by the door, and hand it to the recording secretary prior to addressing the Committee. The speaker should come up to the microphone to speak since the meeting is

being recorded. This will assist staff in preparing the minutes. The Chair will call you to speak at the appropriate time.

VI. Public Comment 9:10

Comment from members of the public on items not on the meeting agenda. Each speaker is limited to two

minutes. Total time shall not exceed 10 minutes. Since these topics are non-agenda items, the Committee

may briefly respond to statements made or questions posed as allowed by the Brown Act (Government

Code Section 54954.2). However, the Committee's policy is to refer items to staff for attention, or have a

matter placed on a future agenda for a more comprehensive action or report.
