Planning Commission Agenda - December 19, 2005

1. Meeting Called To Order

Meeting called to order, 7:00pm, Council Chambers, San Carlos's City Hall.

3. Approval Of Minutes

Approval of November 7, 2005 Planning Commission Minutes.

4. Public Comment

Persons wishing to address the Planning Commission on matters NOT on the posted agenda may do so. Five individuals are allowed to speak and each is limited to two minutes.Speakers representing organizations who require more time are requested to speak at the end of the Commission meeting under Public Comment.

If there are more than five individuals wishing to speak during public comment, the Planning Commissioner will draw five speaker cards from those submitted to speak during this time. The balance of the Public Comment speakers will be called upon during the Public Comment agenda item at the end of the Planning Commission Meeting.

5. New Business

a) Public hearing for the purpose of hearing and considering all comments of all persons interested in or concerned with the application of Manssur Aflak, for a Tentative Map, Conditional Use Permit and Architectural Review, associated with the construction of a new, three-story, five-unit multi-family complex, pursuant to Chapters 17.24, 18.30, 18.124 and Section 18.116.130 of the San Carlos Municipal Code located at 769 Elm Street (Assessor’s Parcel Number: 050 152 240).

Staff is recommending approval of the Tentative Map, Conditional Use Permit and Architectural Review Permit.

d) Planning Staff comments, reports and updates of current projects

7. Public Comment

Public Comment is limited to items not on the agenda.The Commission may briefly respond to statements made or questions posed as allowed by the Brown Act (Government Code Section 54954.2). However, the Commissions general policy is to refer items to staff for attention, or have a matter placed on a future Commission agenda for a more comprehensive action or report

8. Adjournment

The next Planning Commission will be held on January 17, 2006.
