Friday, May 17th at 5:00pm marks the beginning of the 33rd Annual edition of San Carlos Hometown Days at Burton Park.
This uniquely San Carlos event features family fun for everyone including a dinner on Friday evening, a parade on Saturday, May 18th that starts at 9:45 am, as well as live music, food, entertainment and fun all weekend long.

The San Carlos Library at 610 Elm Street will be undergoing a renovation and refresh project starting in mid-May. This work will last for a period of 6 months. During that period, the first floor of the Library will be closed starting on Saturday, May 18th at 5:00 p.m. through November 2013. Atemporary mini-Library will be available on the 2nd Floor of the LibraryBuilding starting on May 28th.

On February 25, 2013 the San Carlos City Council introduced a Reusable Bag Ordinance. The City Council adopted the Ordinance on March 11, 2013 with an effective date of July 1, 2013. Retailers need to comply with the provisions of the Reusable Bag Ordinance by that date.
