New development could
include additional residential units for downtown living, new and
improved retail space, and public amenities such as a gathering space
or additional downtown parking – designed to enhance and enliven the
downtown.
At a minimum, any redevelopment would replace all of the
existing public parking on the site.
Silverstone Communities has been meeting with property owners, business owners, community leaders, neighbors and interested citizens to generate ideas and alternatives to consider for the site, and to hear and understand the issues and concerns of various stakeholders.
At this point, there is no plan or proposed project – only the ideas and concepts that have been offered to date.
