Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR)

The Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) for the proposed Palo Alto Medical Foundation medical clinic, hospital and medical office building at 301 Industrial Road (CPI/Eimac site) was released on Wednesday afternoon, March 1st. This started a 60 day public comment period on the draft document.

The Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) addresses the potential environmental effects of the construction and operation of Palo Alto Medical Center - San Carlos Center. This comprehensive DEIR assesses potentially significant impacts including, but not limited to, those concerning land use issues, visual quality, transportation, air quality, noise, cultural resources, biological resources, geology, hydrology, hazardous materials, population and housing, public services, and utilities. This Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) is prepared in accordance with California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines.

The initial hearing(s) on the Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) will be held at a joint meeting of the City Council and the Planning Commission at the Hiller Aviation Museum on Monday, April 3rd starting at 7:00pm.
