Auto Burglary

On 07/03/2008 at 0748 hours officers responded to the unit block of Laurel St. on the report of an auto burglary.  Unknown suspects broke into the locked car and took a DVD player from inside.

On 07/03/2008 at 0826 hours officers responded to the 300 block of Elm St. on the report of an auto burglary.  Unknown suspects broke a window to the car and took a GPS unit.

On 07/03/2008 at 0913 hours officers responded to the 200 block of Elm St. on the report of an auto burglary.  Unknown subjects broke into a car, unknown if anything was taken at this time.

Petty Theft

On 07/03/2008 officers met with a citizen who reported that he had prescription medication taken from his car while it was being washed at Ducky’s Car wash.

 Burglary

On 07/04/2008 at 0803 hours officers responded to the 1900 block of Eucalyptus on the report of a burglary.  Unknown subjects entered a construction site and took miscellaneous tools from the site.

Warrant Arrest

On 07/04/2008 at 1412 hours officers contacted Robert Laplante age 51 out of San Carlos.  Laplante was found to have an active warrant out for his arrest.  Laplante was arrested on a no bail warrant and booked into county jail.

Failure to Yield

On 07/04/2008 at 2127 hours officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a vehicle at Hall and Old County Rd. and the vehicle fled.  The vehicle eventually came to a stop after a brief pursuit and the driver, Adam Fritsch age 19 out of San Mateo, was arrested and booked into county jail.

Vandalism

On 07/05/2008 at 0844 hours officers responded to the Train Depot on report of a vandalism.  Graffiti was discovered on the train station.

Hit and Run

On 07/05/2008 at 1213 hours officers responded to the 1000 block of Inverness Dr. on the report of a Hit and Run.  A vehicle was hit sometime overnight and no information was left.
