D.U.I.

On 07/25/2008 at 2350 hours officers contacted Paul Vargas pursuant to a traffic stop. Vargas, age 52 out of San Mateo, was found to be intoxicated and was arrested for D.U.I.

Warrant Arrest

On 07/25/2008 at 0045 hours officers contacted Robert Presler, age 22 out of San Carlos. Presler was found to have a $50,000.00 warrant out of San Bernadino County. Presler was arrested on the warrant.

Drug Activity

On 07/25/2008 at 0230 hours officers contacted Benjamin Mauldin pursuant to a traffic stop. Mauldin, age 19 out of Redwood City, was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance. Mauldin was also found to be in possession of marijuana and prescription pills. Mauldin was arrested and booked into county jail.

Petty Theft

On 07/25/2008 at 1204 hours officers responded to Home Depot on the report of a theft from a vehicle. Unknown if anything was taken at the time, but van was broken into.

On 07/25/2008 at 1445 hours officers responded to Home Depot on the report of a van that had a mirror taken off of it.

Burglary

On 07/25/2008 at 1751 hours officers responded to the 400 block of Portofino Dr. on the report of a burglary. Unknown subjects entered the house and took a laptop computer and watches.

On 07/25/2008 at 2354 hours officers responded to the 1500 block of Bayside Blvd. on the report of an auto burglary. Unknown subjects took a subwoofer, digital camera, and an in-dash stereo.

On 07/27/2008 at 0438 hours officers responded to the 900 block of Terminal Way on the report of an auto burglary. Unknown subjects entered the vehicle and took unknown items.

Grand Theft

On 07/26/2008 at 1355 hours officers responded to Peninsula Tropicals on the report of a theft of money. An unknown subject was seen in the back of the store, and when confronted by the manager he left. The manager then found that a large sum of money was missing from the business.
