Landmark Hotel Development
Status of Project:The contractor, Deacon Construction, completed rough grading of the site, installation of soil stabilization piles and landscape work on Industrial Road. In the month of October there are four concrete pours scheduled to take place requiring early start times. A separate notice regarding the concrete pours and the potential impact have been mailed to adjacent neighbors, businesses and property owners and posted on this page. Additional updates will follow, as well as a notice to apprise of formal start of the hotel super structure.
Construction Hours: 8:00am - 6:00pm Monday through Friday, 9:00am -5:00pm on Saturdays (no work on Sunday or holidays). Grading and dirt haul is limited to Monday through Friday only.
Dirt Haul Route: Industrial Road to Holly Street (east only) to USA Highway 101.
Description of Project
The Planning Commission approved the project plans on July 6, 2015 and the City Council issued its approval of the project on July 27, 2015 meeting.
The hotel development includes the construction of a new four-story, upscale, extended-stay hotel. The hotel will include 204 guest rooms, with associated surface parking and site landscaping. On-site hotel amenities include a lobby, outdoor patio areas with a pool and sport court, fitness and laundry center, limited food service, and a meeting room. All guest rooms will include individual kitchens.
