Guidelines for Preparing Your Planning Department Submittal 
In an effort to provide property owners and applicants with guidelines to assist them through the development process and provide them with an understanding of residential development requirements, the Planning Staff has worked directly with the Residential Design Review Committee and Planning Commission to develop a brochure outlining the residential development process and regulations. In this brochure, you will find detailed information in preparing and submitting an application to the Planning Department. A step by step flowchart of the process has also been included which outlines the process for residential additions/remodels and new homes. Thank you for taking the time to assist Planning Staff in improving the residential review process! We are currently working on a final version of the brochure that takes into account all of your feedback and commentary. Please use this brochure as a resource for now until the next edition of the Residential Brochure is made available.
