The City Council, at the meeting on Monday, May 22nd, discussed reconsidering one or more of the actions taken at the May 8, 2006 City Council meeting which provided direction to staff regarding athletic field improvements.Heather School Athletic Field is the only action from the May 8, 2006 meeting that the City Council voted to agendize for reconsideration.This topic has been added to the City Council agenda for June 12th.The Council will discuss if they wish to direct staff to include synthetic turf at Heather School Field in their analysis of options for that field.At a future City Council meeting, staff will report back to Council on their analysis of athletic field improvement options at each of the field sites selected by the City Council.These are the initial steps in the process that will eventually lead to improvements at one or more Athletic Fields in the City.
