The site is a gently sloping, undeveloped hill area that can be reached from either Chilton, Sequoia, or from below, by way of Bayview Drive. From the western boundary exists an elegant view of the canyon and surrounding area. From the middle of the property, one gets a great view of San Carlos and the east bay. A major rock outcropping, a favorite climbing area for children is located on the slope leading down to Bayview. No park has yet been developed on this site. Parks staff regularly abates the weed growth to minimize fire danger.

The City acquired part of this property in 1969 as a future park site due, in great part, to the efforts of Councilman Joe Judge. Additional parcels were added several years later as a result of the Bayview-Exeter development.
