Burton Park, 1017 Cedar Street, San Carlos Burton Park is the oldest and best known park in San Carlos. The central location and diversity of activities help attract a wide spectrum of users year round.The park features ball fields, basketball courts, playgrounds and tennis courts. 2 Restroom stalls on site Parking: 24 spaces on Chestnut cul-de-sac Playground Picnic Area, Burton Park - Maximum Group size: 60 people
- 3 tables, Approximate Area: 36’ x 48’
- 1 BBQ grill available at site
- Location: Cedar Street, Between Basketball Courts and Playground
- Reservation fee: $125
Tot Lot Picnic Area, Burton Park - Maximum Group size: 20 people
- 2 areas with Table, Approximate Area: 25’ x 27’
- Note: playground open to public use
- No BBQing within tot lot area
- Reservation fee: $65
Les Mundell Grove, Burton Park
Les Mundell Grove is located in a grove of redwood trees, behind the Youth Center facility on Woodland Avenue. Restrooms available at Burton Park north end restrooms by playground. - Maximum Group size: 60 people

- Reservation fee: $85
Laureola Park, 503 Old County Road, San Carlos Laureola Park is a neighborhood park with ball field, basketball courts and playground area. This park is located between San Carlos Avenue, Old County Road and Bayport Drive.

Bayport Picnic Site - Maximum group size: 40 people
- 3 tables and double BBQ, Approximate Area: 70’ x 40’
- Reservation fee: $85
Laureola West Side Picnic Area - Maximum Group Size: 100 people
- 6 tables and BBQ grills plus small adjoining lawn area, Approximate Area: 60’ x 110’
- Reservation fee: $125
Arguello Park, 260 Wellington Drive, San Carlos
Arguello Park is located .2 miles off San Carlos Avenue on Wellington Drive above Arundel School, and offers a playground, two picnic sites, trails, and a ball field.

Additional Picnic Sites - Picnic tables available on first-come basis 2 restroom stalls on site Parking: 30 stalls in lot - Cedar Street Neighborhood Park, located 100 block of Cedar Street, near Belmont border.
- City Hall Park, located at the corner of San Carlos Ave and Elm Street.
- Crestview Park, located on Leslie Drive, off Crestview Drive, north of Brittan Avenue.
- Highlands Park, located at the corner of Melendy Drive and Aberdeen Drive.
- Hillcrest Circle Park, located Hillcrest Road & Arundel Road.

- San Carlos Avenue Neighborhood Park, located on the 2300 block of SC Avenue.
- Vista Park, located on the west side of the 400 block on Crestview Drive.
Please note: The City of San Carlos Parks are unable to accommodate groups over 150 guests. Large groups may consider contacting the following County Parks for reservations: - Coyote Point, Huddart Park, Edgewood Park

San Carlos Residents and San Carlos businesses may reserve a picnic site up to 6 months in advance, and any Non-Residents may reserve a picnic site up to 3 months in advance. Reservable months are from March through October only.
- Reservation must be made in person at the Parks & Recreation Office, Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, located at 600 Elm Street, 2nd Floor.
- Payment can be made by Visa or MasterCard, cash, or check.
- Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
- For inquires regarding availability, please call the Parks & Recreation Office at (650) 802-4382. We do not put placeholders in the Facility Booking system.
