Program Description

San Carlos Parks & Recreation sponsors a Summer Concert Series in Burton Park on Friday evenings in July and August. The event provides a variety of music from local bands entertaining an enthusiastic crowd of youth to adults enjoying each other’s company as well as picnics and beautiful park surroundings.

Be a part of this dynamic community event that brings families and neighbors together to celebrate and create community in San Carlos


Hours

  • 4:00 – 9:00 pm
  • Fridays in July and August

Responsibilities

  • Set up assistance – i.e. tables, chairs, signs, restroom checks
  • During Concert assistance – i.e. distribute schedules, monitor crowd, check restrooms etc.
  • Take down assistance – i.e. signs, tables, chairs

Qualifications

  • Be at least 15 years old
  • Experience interacting with children and adults in a recreation setting
  • Positive attitude and willingness to help others
  • Willingness and ability to move tables, chairs, boxes and other supplies as needed
  • Ability to stand and walk around concert area

Time Commitment

Friday evenings in July and August


Training Provided

Job orientation will be provided by Summer Concert staff.
