The San Carlos Youth Center is a recreation facility at Burton Park designed for pre-teen and young teen members of the community. It includes a full size Gymnasium, Activities room, TV lounge, Learning Kitchen, Dance Studio and computer equipped Homework Center.

It also includes information on the San Carlos Youth Advisory Council. The Youth Advisory Council is a group of local San Carlos students who are appointed by the City Council. They work with the City of San Carlos and its Park & Recreation Department to develop recreational activities and advise the City on issues of concern to students.
