Introduction
One of the hallmarks of the City of San Carlos is involving members of the community in the review and debate of key issues. To assist with this process, the City Council appoints citizens to a variety of Commissions and Advisory Boards. Read below for more information on how to apply for a position on one of these Commissions and Advisory Boards.
Submitting An Application
You will need to complete an application for serving on a City Commission or Advisory Board. Once the application period has closed, your application will be reviewed and the successful applicants will be interviewed by the City Council or in some cases the Planning Commission (Architectural Review Committee and Exception Design Control Committee) for possible appointment.
For your convenience, we have provided a copy of the appropriate application form (or forms) and background material as part of each of the Boards and Commission Announcement Forms.
