Introduction

The Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Carlos (“Agency”) invites Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms or individuals to redevelop an approximately 1.5 acre site located at the entrance to downtown San Carlos, referred to as Wheeler Plaza. Wheeler Plaza is currently owned by the City of San Carlos (“City”) and used as a free parking lot to accommodate downtown patrons. The Agency also owns two parcels adjacent to Wheeler Plaza - a retail building on one side, and a six-unit rental housing development on the other. These three parcels shall be referred to as the “Site”.
