Day Of Service

Day of Service returns April 2025!

San Carlos Day of Service is a one-day celebration of our wonderful city through acts of community service, started by a group of enthusiastic San Carlans in 2017. We live in a community that is unique in its strong and vibrant identity and pride. The Day of Service grows our sense of community through one day dedicated to giving back. Sign up for a volunteer project, pledge to donate items, and celebrate making community connections through good works!

Whether you're signed up to volunteer or just excited to learn more, don't miss music and snacks at the Day of Service Headquarters at the cornhole courts across from the Youth Center's front entrance! Fix your bike with San Carlos Bikes, learn about local equipment lending from MELP/Able Closet, and more!
Help a local organization or public space! Beautify a school campus! Create something incredible at the library's Maker Mobile! Plant trees and flowers at our local parks! Create wildflower seed "bombs" and learn about native species!

Email to learn more, and register as a volunteer on our Better Impact site to make sure you don't miss any exciting projects!
