Biography
Pranita Venkatesh was elected to the City Council in 2022 after having served on the San Carlos Economic Development Advisory Commission for three years.
Since she and her husband moved to San Carlos in 2009 to raise their two children, she has been an early childhood advocate and owns a Montessori preschool is San Carlos.
Mrs. Venkatesh graduated with a B.A. from Notre Dame de Namur and earned her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood and Clinical Psychology. Prior to moving to San Carlos, Mrs. Venkatesh was a child psychologist in East Palo Alto and a buyer at Macy's.
