Biography
Ron Collins retired from the insurance business in 2022 after 41 years. Prior to that, Mr. Collins was a public school teacher and administrator in Half Moon Bay for seven years. He holds a master’s degree from San Francisco State University in educational administration.
Mr. Collins served in the past as a member of the San Carlos Economic Development Advisory Commission and Planning Commission.
A lifelong resident of San Mateo County, he and his wife Gayle have lived in San Carlos most of their lives and raised their two children here. Mr. Collins enjoys swimming and golf in his spare time.
