Finance manages business registration, payroll, financial planning, budget management, accounts receivable and payable, general accounting, financial reporting, purchasing, city fees, fixed asset management and internal audit management. The department has received numerous awards through the years for its financial reporting.
The Human Resources division manages a comprehensive program with the mission to provide excellent customer service and quality support services to all persons in the areas of personnel, employee training and development, orientation, classification, employee relations and salary and benefit administration for the employees of the City of San Carlos.
Our Risk Management Program provides safety policies and procedures and protects our resources against risks or liability. The Risk Management Division manages these areas: Workers' Compensation; Employee Occupational Health & Safety; and Liability. In addition, compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations is handled by the ADA Coordinator.
